Ram 1500 Performance
The Ram 1500’s 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 engine includes the eTorque Mild Hybrid System, and an eight-speed automatic transmission has 305 maximum horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. The hybrid technology boosts overall performance and provides an extra 90 lb-ft of torque. The 5.7-litre HEMI V8 engine also has the eTorque Mild Hybrid System, eight-speed transmission, 395 maximum horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. The hybrid system gives an additional 130 lb-ft of torque. The 6.2-litre Supercharged HEMI V8 engine has eight-speed automatic transmission, six TRX selectable modes, 702 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. This engine also offers 4x4 mode.
Chevrolet Silverado Performance
The engine options include the 5.3-;itre EcoTec3 V8, the 6.2-litre EcoTec3 V8 and the Duramax 3.0-litre Turbo-Diesel. The horsepower ranges from 305 to 420, depending on the engine choice. The engines have 383, 460 and 495 lb-ft of torque, respectively. The TurboMax is a fourth engine option. Designed with diesel technology, this engine ensures durability and superior load-bearing abilities. The cast-iron liners help to ensure engine longevity with proficient cooling and lubrication.
Ram 1500 Exterior
The eye-catching monochromatic exterior is accented with black lamps, mirrors, exhausts and badging. The tires are suitable for all terrains, and an extra all-terrain tire is included under the truck bed. The Sport Appearance Package is designed to include the bumpers, door handles and mirror caps in the exterior colour choice. A multifunction tailgate is also available for some models, with up to 907kg load bearing capabilities. The Trailer Hitch Light is conveniently placed for clear visibility when loading cargo.
Chevrolet Silverado 1500
Choose between a regular cab, double cab or crew cab. The Multi-Flex tailgate can be assembled into various options, including a work surface and a load stop. A tonneau cover and trailer mirrors are also available for the tailgate. With the turbo diesel engine, the regular cab can tow up to 4491kg, and the extended cab has a maximum towing capacity of 6033kg.
Ram 1500 Interior
The Ram 1500 is designed with an authentic leather and wood interior, ample legroom, rear reclining seats, and a dual-pane panoramic sunroof. The innovative RamBox Cargo Management System offers multiple storage options with a remote-lock feature. The centre console is reconfigurable, and the door pockets include recessed LED lighting. In-floor storage bins offer up to 10.16cm of space and include removable liners, tie-downs and a moulded-in ruler.
Chevrolet Silverado Interior
The interior is dependent on your choice of model. The base models offer standard vinyl seating with manual settings. The High Country model includes leather seating and a wood trim. The crew cab offers spacious headroom and innovative storage areas located in convenient places.
